Walking God’s Path

Today’s Readings

The way of the just is smooth because it is the path God prepares, not the one we construct. Isaiah reminds us that the Lord “makes level the path of the just.” Yet how often do we spend our energy trying to build our own road instead? We map out our plans, establish our schedules, and decide what success, holiness, or happiness should look like. When life takes an unexpected turn, we become frustrated because it no longer follows the route we designed.

The just person is not one who has every detail of life under control. The just person is the one who trusts that God sees farther than we do and prepares a better path than we could ever create for ourselves. Walking that road requires humility, surrender, and faith. Today, ask yourself: Am I trying to force God to bless my plans, or am I allowing Him to lead me along the path He has prepared?
