Know Him, Not Just About Him

Today’s Readings

Today Jesus reminds us that it is not enough merely to know about Him or to be familiar with His teachings. Christian faith is not an academic exercise—it is a relationship. We are called to know Jesus personally, to love Him, and to allow His word to shape the way we live. Faith requires both mind and heart.

If we stop at inspiration alone, nothing truly changes. But when we open our hearts to conversion—real transformation—God’s grace begins to reorder our lives. We grow as beloved sons and daughters of the Father. We discover who we truly are. And we begin to experience the peace and joy Christ longs to give.

The more we allow the Lord to reshape our thoughts and desires, the more clearly we understand ourselves, others, and God. Only then can we become instruments of His peace, love, and grace—gifts our city and our world desperately need.
