St. Paul asks and answers one of the most important questions in all of Scripture: “What will separate us from the love of Christ?” His answer is simple and absolute—nothing.
Do we truly hear that in our hearts? Do we believe it—not just with our minds, but with our whole being? We often focus on our struggles to live faithfully in a world that constantly pulls us in other directions. Yet beneath those struggles may lie something deeper: our inability—or unwillingness—to believe that Christ really loves us without condition.
Scripture makes it abundantly clear that even at our worst, God’s love for us remains perfect and unwavering. This kind of love confounds the world, which measures love by worthiness or performance. But divine love is different—it is unearned, steadfast, and total.
Today, pause and let Paul’s words echo in your heart: “Nothing will separate us from the love of Christ.” Let that truth transform how you see yourself, and how you live in the world.
