One of the characteristics of the Christian life is that of a life lived in gratitude to God. This gratitude flows from the joy of knowing of God’s love, His constant mercy and forgiveness, and the promises of eternal life with God.
Gratitude is a posture of love. It places our focus outside of ourselves and allows love to take root in our hearts and to bear fruit in our thoughts, words and actions. Today, take some time throughout the day to give thanks to God.
