Living in Love with God

Today’s Readings

In the Gospel Jesus reminds his apostles and us that he has taught us what we need to know to live as children of God, not only with his words, but by how he lived his own life. He has given us a model to follow.

St. Francis de Sales wrote, “Just as children by listening to their mothers…learn to speak their language, so we, by keeping close to the Savior…observing his words, his actions, and his affections, shall learn, with the help of his grace, to speak, to act and to will like him.”
