Tuesday April 29, Memorial of St. Catherine of Siena

If we step back and look, we can see the effects of God at work in our world and in our lives.  At the same time, we can reflect and see how we have allowed the Lord to work in our lives as well as how we may have been an obstacle to that work.  St. Paul describes the fruits of the Spirit as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (Gal 5:22-23)

The new life Christ offers us as a result of his Paschal Mystery brings us into a relationship with Him–we are drawn into the Divine life which is perfect love.

Let us pray today asking the Lord to help us to be aware of his presence and work around us and ask Him for the grace to overcome the obstacles we place in our love with Him.
