Living in Love with God

The cross wasn’t the end of the story of Jesus. In fact, the cross is what allows the story to become much more meaningful. Because of the cross the story continues to Resurrection, new life and a great victory over sin and death. The story doesn’t even end with Jesus’ Ascension. As Luke tells us in the Acts of the Apostles, the Lord’s mission and preaching continues through the preaching and teaching of His disciples. Even more than that, the Lord continues to work through His disciples in 2025—all of us who have been baptized and confirmed. We believers are instruments of the Lord. He will continue to use us to continue His work of reaching out to humanity and offering Redemption.
